Just as each true tea features different health benefits and attributes, different flowers provide their own specific health benefits as well.

Osmanthus

Roses’ natural sweetness is pleasant to the taste. Rose tea is regarded as a mild sedative and anti-depressant, it is increasingly used in treatments for conditions of stress: nervous tension, peptic ulcers, and heart disease, among others.

Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle is one of TCM’s 50 fundamental herbs! Honeysuckle has been used for centuries for it boasts some incredible health benefits. It is antibacterial and might cure the common cold, and helps battle viruses in your body. Honeysuckle is often used to detoxify the body. It reduces inflammation in the body and of your skin, and is known to help relieve the pain of gout.

Calendula

Calendula (or marigold) helps with issues related to women’s hormonal health. It can help to induce the menstrual cycle, helping to regulate the body. It can also help relieve the pain and discomfort of unwanted PMS symptoms that are sometimes experienced during this time such as bloating and abdominal cramps.

Cornflower Blossom

Cornflower blossoms are featured in many tea blends, they are the bright and cheerful slender blue petals sprinkled throughout. Cornflower is added to many blends because of the numerous health benefits- not just the pretty pop of color! Cornflower contains components like anthocyanins and flavonoids, which contribute greatly to its medicinal value. It is rich in potassium and tannins, has powerful astringent, antiseptic, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties. These minerals also help regulate ph levels of the blood. Cornflower is also rich in vitamin C, folic acid, and other organic compounds that help detoxify the body!
