Castleton Tea Estate has a rich history; in fact, it is one of the oldest tea plantations in the western Darjeeling region, it was originally planted in 1885. The slopes of Castleton span Pankhabari, Kurseong and the Hill Card Roads, the tea produced here is known for being truly unique. Our Darjeeling Castleton Clonal Tipp First Flush is a prime example of Castleton Darjeeling Tea; the Champagne of all teas! It has a lovely bright floral aroma with hints of walnut and white peach, it is speckled throughout with abundant green tips. Once steeped the opaque amber colored liquid has a lovely dry mouth feel with a muscatel flavor and notes of cocoa, burnt sugar and malt. Our Darjeeling Castleton First Flush infuses a lovely floral cup with distinctive flavor and aroma that lingers on and on after multiple infusions.
