Description

Our premium Jin Jun Mei Lapsang Golden Eyebrow holds the distinction of being the world's rarest Lapsang (smoked) Chinese black tea, and is subject to incredibly high standards to ensure its consistency and fine quality.

Our Jin Jun Mei Lapsang Golden Eyebrow comes from a rare species of wild tea that grows at a high altitude in China's Wuyi Mountain range. It is picked before Qing Ming, and is highly labour-intensive to gather, much pride and care goes in to this fine craft production! Jin Jun Mei Lapsang Golden Eyebrow’s leaves are slender, tightly curled gold flecked black leaves and tips. Its heady smoked aroma lends the blend an interesting mysterious quality.

Once steeped, it produces a maple syrup golden tea liquor with a rich and aromatic taste of cocoa, honey, baked goods, molasses, and a hint of honeysuckle; and no bitterness whatsoever.

For the best tea drinking experience, we recommend using a gaiwan and enjoying multiple infusions.

All time favourite. Smoked tea is something I've allways loved and this if by far the best. Very good in the evenings!

Great Lapsang! Between this and the Tarry Superior, I enjoy this one more. The Tarry one is still delicious, and its a bit smokier I find, but the Golden Eyebrow has more nuance to it. Less astringent, and more complexity than the Tarry. Buying this again now.

Im drinking and LOVING this as I write this. Cant get enough. It just bumped my all time favorite Lapsang out of the number one slot. GORGEOUS tea, light woodsy smoke scent and delicate smoke flavor. Not overpowering, but warm and comforting. Great mouth feel. Full and thick. Smooth. Not a bit bitter . Just a nice edge as I hate astringent tea like Greens. But this has depth to it. Almost tastes like a buttery fresh cookie . Of my 200 plus teas, this one is now number one.

I enjoy smokey teas in general, but this is something else. The smell of the leaves is a delicious sweet smoke with a subtle hint of rich tea behind it. The smokiness isn't as strong in the cup, but the tea is very well balanced.
This will be my new daily tea, highly recommend
