Taiwanese Bi Luo Chun – Fresh, Floral Taiwanese Green Tea

Bi Luo Chun is a famous green tea traditionally from China, praised for its stunning appearance, bright color, strong fragrance and mellow taste. Our Taiwanese Bi Luo Chun is a beautiful example of this classic, with all the uniqueness that Taiwan's soil, air and elevation bring.

Bi Luo Chun was introduced to Taiwan by Chinese immigrants — and until then, Taiwan didn't produce green tea at all. Made from tender young buds with one leaf, this full-flavored tea has an intriguing character that sits somewhere between green tea and oolong: fresh, aromatic and deeply satisfying.

This one is a wonderful daily Taiwanese. There is a slight hint of oolong from what is predominantly a green. I like it.

Very distinct flavour! It doesn't have a lot of sweetness to it, like other green teas, it's very much on the opposite end of the spectrum, but it's incredibly delicious in it's own right. Buttery and savory, lots of vegetal notes, asparagus, sauteed spinach, high mineral content, very brothy. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended to fans of Mao Feng greens that want to try something a little different.
