The Eucalyptus plant is native to Australia. It is best known for the soothing treatment of respiratory ailments; and its antimicrobial benefits are backed by science! If your parents treated your respiratory issues, and coughs with that classic strong smelling medicated ointment when you were a child, you already know the powerful and pungent scent of eucalyptus! The essential oil present in the leaf, roots, and bark have antibacterial, antiseptic, and astringent qualities! Eucalyptus tea also has a pleasant warming effect. It is an effective expectorant, we suggest adding a cup of this earthy brew to your seasonal cold and flu-fighting routine; to clear mucus from the nose, lungs and to relieve and prevent upper respiratory distress. Our pure Eucalyptus Leaf has a soothing effect, strong taste and can bring quick relief to your respiratory issues!

UPDATE: I have discovered that this tea really helps me with asthma - not the coughing attacks but when I develop mucus in my lungs and my chest hurts as if I had an infection. Together with the inhaler the Eucalyptus helps me breath normally. If you, just like me, have incidents of mucus in your lungs and your inhaler fails to deliver quick remedy - try this tea as it may ease your chest pain. It will not harm trying as long as you use it together with (not instead of) your medication.

Perfect for respiratory problems and blocked nose! If you are worried that this tea will hit you like an eucalyptus essential oil you're used to then worry no more. This tea has a lovely natural eucalyptus fragrance that helps to unblock nose but it will not overwhelm you or give you a headache like those essential oils that burn through your eyeballs to your brain. It is a really pleasant tea but if you find it too much it may be mixed with a mint tea as well.
