Strawberry Mint Guayusa

In stock: 25

Origin: Canada

Summer fresh strawberry and mint highlight our delightful guayusa based tea blend. Summer Strawberry Mint Guayusa is full of the refreshing strawberry taste you crave.

Guayusa is a highly-caffeinated tea beverage from South America drank as an alternative to coffee and energy drinks since it contains theobromine, commonly found in chocolate, and L-theanine, a glutamic acid found in green tea that has been shown to reduce physical and mental stress. Studies show that Guayusa has double the antioxidants of green tea, which bring a wonderful balance to the caffeine content naturally present in the leaf (equal to the amount in a cup of brewed coffee).

Our Summer Strawberry Mint Guayusa steeps up a lovely crimson infusion with a sweet strawberry mint aroma, at first sip the balanced liquor releases a crisp crushed strawberry taste with sweet apple and a hint of cool mint lingers in the aftertaste. Enjoy hot or iced!

Hibiscus, mint, guayusa, honeybush, apple, strawberry, orange peel
Caffeine Level:
Use 1-1.5 tsp of tea per 8oz/200ml of water. Heat water to 195F/90C and steep for 2-4 minutes.

The naming of the tea Euphoric Dark Chocolate left me a bit wanting... more chai like that chocolate. Still it was okay. I've had pure cocoa tea (i believe with was from bulletproof) and i enjoyed that style of chocolate tea much more. I wish Tealyra would make a chocolate tea more like that bulletproof style. I would order that again and again.

I drink Ayurvedic tea when I'm unwell and it's amazing how quickly I feel so much better.
I also love the taste for everyday cuppas. T2 used to make an Ayurvedic Chai but discontinued it a few months ago, which lead me to search for alternatives online. Thanks Tealyra, yours is so much tastier as well - please continue to make this gorgeous tea variety.
