A very interesting experience. What actually caught my attention was the lack of reviews so my curiosity pulled me to try this! I would describe this to me very close to a Haung Cha (yellow tea) because in the beginning you very much get that semi fermentation taste. The liquor itself is indeed a bright golden hue, not dark at all and only gets lighter as you proceed with infusions. You get that melon rind, herb flavor. Again, similar to a floral yellow tea, in between rosemary and sweet spinach. Not bitter at all, but a fresh sip of spring herbs and melon rind. You get more floral notes after the 3rd infusion, as well as the hit of the cha qi. Great quality leaves.
This one's good! I bought a bunch at once and this one has notes of watermelon with a rereshing finish. Would compare to ya bao buds flavor wise, with a noticeable head rush after a couple steeps
I have just started drinking this Hong Yu white tea. I love i. A very delicate taste, really exquisite.
