Description

Red Jade White Tea is an organic luxury tea and that is quite unique, Hong Yu is the cultivar of tree, which translates as “Red Jade” or Ruby, hence the name of this fine tea. Hong Yu teas are usually deeply oxidized oolong teas or black - and this white variety is a treat.

Our Red Jade White Tea was hand-made; from handpicking the leaves to processing and drying the tea; these leaves are handled as little as possible to ensure the freshest taste possible- the dark-colored tea leaf has a 10% oxidation. This unique artisan white tea includes a few stems with the leaves - the flavor remains delicate and fresh.

Once steeped, the luxurious aroma is followed by a delicate, fresh, light and vegetal taste. Red Jade White Tea is a delicious Taiwanese white tea that is sure to delight.

I really like this white tea! It’s my favourite of all the white teas I’ve tried. I wasn’t sure about ordering it because it’s red but it’s amazing!!! Some white teas I have bought taste more like green tea and I’m not a fan of green tea. This tea is mellow and gentle and is my hands down favourite evening tea. The colour is beautiful and the price is great aw well!

The Red Jade (Hong Yu) White tea is my favorite tea so far.
Its very flavorful. The taste is so good that I can't even describe it. Its also great if you're into white teas without much caffeine. Its the best tasting white tea I've had. Even against White Peony (Bai MuDan), I believe this one wins out significantly.
I will be getting tea regularly.

Doesn't have the kind of taste and aroma I expect of white tea. It's nutty, with slight hay accents.
To me it tastes more like yellow tea. I'm sure it would be very good for those who prefer this kind of flavour, but its not for me.
