A very pleasant tea to brew. The tea has mix notes of vegetable and grass. No bitterness if brewed properly. I dont recommend to brew the leaves more than once since there is this weird taste that develops that is not pleasant at all. That being said, I had to refine my brewing technique with this tea because its not so forgiving. Once you master it, you will get a very pleasant tea. I will definitely buy this one again.

This is a great tea. Fantastic colour and flavour, and reliable. some of the other teas can be good one pouch, less good the next.

I expected a bit more grassiness and vibrancy out of this deep steamed tea but it would be a good choice for those who don't typically perfer Japanese teas great quality but an ichibancha fukamushi would take the win over this one
I didn't find this sencha grassy at all. It's sweet, smooth and very mild with no bitterness. It really does remind me of fresh-baked bread. I brewed 1.5 teaspoons in 5-6 ounces of water, 90 seconds at 175.
I personally was quite disappointed with this Sencha. Steeped at different temperatures and durations. Best results achieved at 70 degrees for 1.5min. I like my Sencha grassy and fresh - this one was quite dull. Barely any smell.

Didn't expect such a grassy taste. If you like grassy teas it might fit the bill.
