Description
Ringtong Spring Darjeeling – Rare China-Cultivar Spring DarjeelingTucked into the serene slopes of Sonada, just 16 kilometers from Darjeeling town, the Ringtong Tea Garden has quietly flourished since 1865, making it one of the oldest tea gardens in the region. At elevations of 1, 000 to 1, 700 meters, its high-mountain terroir, cool misty air and rich soil produce teas of exceptional clarity and complexity. Ringtong is home to original China cultivars — heritage tea bushes that give its teas a refined, old-world character. Recent small-batch harvests have drawn attention for their standout first and second flushes, with hand-rolled teas crafted in limited quantities with meticulous care. Our Ringtong Spring Darjeeling is a beautiful example of this tradition. Tasting Notes
Why You'll Love ItElegant, expressive and deeply rooted in Darjeeling's legacy, Ringtong Spring is a rare tea worth savoring. Its fresh, melon-like fruitiness sets it apart from more classic muscatel Darjeelings, offering a bright, radiant cup that's gentle and grounding at once.
How to EnjoySavor it plain to appreciate its fresh, fruity complexity. It's lovely for a relaxing afternoon cup and pairs beautifully with fresh fruit, light salads, soft cheeses and delicate pastries.
