The leaves are absurdly large when they get to unfurl and fully open, and you can see that whoever picked and rolled this tea took it very seriously. It's very smooth, and is a great example of what Yunnan can produce. My only gripe with it is that it's pretty difficult to eyeball how many pearls you need if you brew in a pot or french press, but for gongfu-style, this shouldn't be an issue.

It is the sweeter of the black teas I have tried. I am using two pearls per cup. Bet this would be great to infuse in a larger quantity and then chill for an iced tea on a hot day. Will definitely be ordering more!
