Bought the teapot and chose the tea leaves and then was so disappointed in the tea leaves, as another reviewer said, there is no life in the cuppa at all the tea is so weak even if you put more leaves in than necessary it just does not work. I keep trying and hoping for a decent cup but nothing. I would not recommend I am sorry

So disappointed in this tea. Based on the reviews and other English Breakfast teas I've tried, I was expecting a proper English Breakfast - something full-bodied, hearty and robust. This tea, instead of blooming immediately into a deep rich amber or red like other English breakfast teas, starts out a pale straw colour and only develops into a light-medium gold colour. Even doing it as the Irish do - one tsp per cup and "one for the pot" and even going further (adding more leaves, steeping longer) this tea just didn't deliver the rich, strong, bold taste associated with English Breakfast.
Is it a nice tea? yes. The flavour is balanced and mild, but as an "English Breakfast" it falls short.

This is a lovely english breakfast with smooth mouth feel and no tannins. I purchased it because it is organic, I will reorder because it is delicious and organic.
Delicious. The best English Breakfast I’ve tasted so far. Smooth, relaxing, and doesn’t leave that nasty tannin feeling in your mouth. I highly recommend it.
I've been drinking tea since i was a little boy. Growing up on Twinings English breakfast, I feel like i've grown up and entered the world of Adult teas. This is the way English Breakfast should be had. Tealyra you have outdone yourself with this one. Follow instructions very carefully. Level teaspoon per cup and a 3 min. brew time with set you right. I do think a dollp of cream or a splash of milk enhances this brew. If you're a fan of English Breakfast you must give this one a chance or if you're new to the idea of black teas, this is as good as it gets.
I am in love with this tea. English Breakfast has always been a favourite of mine, but this one just takes it to another level. It's so creamy and calming, good with breakfast and after dinner. This is a staple in my tea cupboard.

I am not used to drink english breakfast tea because those I usually find are too acrid. This one from Tealyra is not. It is sweet with a delicate taste of caramel. It comes from chinese but it is like a japanese tea. Too subtil, sweet and refined ! Happy to found it !
