Egyptian Chamomile – Pure Whole Chamomile Flower Herbal Tea

Bright and cheery yellow chamomile flowers, with their naturally sweet, honey-like floral aroma, are an herbal infusion classic. Your cozy cup awaits with our pure, whole-flower Egyptian Chamomile.

Chamomile is the common name for several daisy-like plants in the Asteraceae family that are grown for making herbal tea. Not all daisies are suitable, though — the ones in your backyard are usually a garden variety and may not be safe to drink. Chamomile has been prepared as a tea since ancient times, prized for its calming and soothing qualities and loved for generations. We absolutely love pure chamomile on its own, but a touch of honey only adds to its wonderfully soothing comfort.

I am definitely not a chamomile tea drinker nor did I ever like it? I ordered this due to health issues and being so full of ***, my acupuncture doc told me this tea is good for it, I made a cup last night with also the collagen booster tea and it was okay, kinda plain but maybe I didn’t put enough, either way I’m still going to drink it as at this point I’m looking for some relief and I have nothing to loose at this point!

I have bought many different chamomile teas from a lot of different sources and I can say this is one of the freshest, most delicious chamomiles I have ever had. It is a great tea to have in the afternoon or right before bed.

First time with loose tea, it has changed how I buy tea for life. The flavour is intense and the aroma is to die for. Wonderful tea, will buy again soon! Although there is a lot of choice on this website

This is lovely. The flavor is wonderful and richer than previous chamomiles I have tried. It is a new staple in my tea drinking favorites!

Questions about Egyptian Chamomile

What does Egyptian chamomile taste like?

Soft, sweet and honey-like, with a mellow floral flavor. The whole flowers brew a clear golden cup.

Why whole flowers instead of tea-bag chamomile?

Whole flower heads keep their aroma longer and brew a sweeter, fuller cup than the fine dust in most tea bags.

How much should I use?

Chamomile flowers are light and fluffy, so use about 1.5 heaping teaspoons (about 2 g) per 8 oz cup and steep 4–6 minutes in water at 205°F (95°C). For a stronger cup, use more flowers rather than steeping longer.

What can I blend it with?

It pairs well with mint, lavender, lemon peel, rooibos or a slice of fresh ginger. Try a spoon of honey too.

How should I store it?

In an airtight container away from light and moisture. The flowers are fragile, so don't press them into a small jar.
