Nuestro Matcha Iri Sencha es una mezcla de nuestros mejores tés orgánicos sencha y matcha. Se crea con Sencha japones de primera calidad que se prepara tradicionalmente al vapor y se fríe. Luego, se recubre con una fina capa de Matcha de alta calidad (2, 5% en peso). El resultado es un intenso sabor a té verde muy herbáceo con notas de delicada dulzura que permanecen en la lengua. ¡Matcha Iri Sencha es absolutamente perfecto para aquellos que aprecian el sabor fuerte del té, con muchos antioxidantes y buscan un boost de cafeína!

Un pequeño consejo de infusiónDeja que el agua recién hervida se enfríe uno o dos minutos: el agua demasiado caliente amarga las hojas delicadas. Las buenas hojas dan también una deliciosa segunda taza.

Preparación:

Utilice 1-1,5 cucharadas o 1 bolsa de té por cada 8oz/200ml de agua. Calentar el agua a 175F/80°C y dejar reposar durante 1.5-2 min.

[EN] This is probably my favorite green tea ever! First of all, the color of the brew is a gorgeous bright green. Some other reviewers mentioned that this has some bitter notes, but I haven’t found that to be true at all. It has a bright, slight vegetal flavor but also a bit of malt flavor from the matcha. It is somehow both light and rich at the same time. And unlike so many green teas for me, I have absolutely no trouble drinking (a lot of) it on an empty stomach. This is a beautiful and exceptional tea!

[EN] I was a fan of David's Tea Sencha. But I didn't want to order teas from different places so I ordered from Tealyra. At first I didn't like the flavor because I felt it was too weak. Long story short, when I ordered this tea the second time it totally blew me away. The notes were just perfect and even better than Sencha from David's Tea. Since then, I have been ordering Matcha Iri Sencha and I love every sip of it. This tea in my view can't be brewed twice. The second brew is very weak and gets bitter. So I brew it once and brew it right. More than a min and a half and the tea gets bitter. The water has to be the exact temperature between 170 F - 175 F, more than that and the tea gets bitter. Regardless, I will keep buying it because it is just a wonderful tea.

[EN] I have been searching for years fir the perfect macha blend. I have been trying this one for some time now, and think I have finally arrived. I'm tempted to add a little more macha. Very unusually, the second cup is of a great quality. This is good for me, as I normally need two cups to get me started. Beautiful colour and perfume. I recommend it to many friends. Some have made the mistake of ordering from another source. It never compares with yours.

[EN] This one is definitely a winner! It punches well above it's price range for Japanese green tea. Lovely flavour and great colour. It also delivers your caffine in such a away that you can be so awake but without buzz or jitters!

[EN] This is my favorite daily sencha, and favorite tea in general. The sencha/matcha blend is wonderful because it allows you to get excellent results through multiple steepings. The matcha will add sweetness and counterbalance the astringency of the sencha on the first steep, giving you a strong and bright first cup. For the second steep and beyond, the matcha is mostly gone, as well as the most of the bitterness from sencha, giving you a mellower, milder cup that is still nicely balanced. I like to do a shorter first steep and a much longer second steep, which I find gives me a balanced yet full bodied extraction each time.

[EN] The best green tea I've ever had outside of Japan. I'm neither a particularly vain person nor a tea snob, but I really appreciate a great cup of tea. This is a cup so great that, when brewed correctly, you almost don't feel worthy of it. It's as if you somehow made a mistake in preparing it because it's that good. I have found that, for my personal taste, 75-77*C and 3ish minutes of brew time is optimal. That said, the suggested 80*C and 1.5-2*C is plenty good.

If you've been turned off green tea in the past because most coffee shops and restaurants burn the living daylights out of the leaves with 99*C water, look no further than right here right now for something to renew your faith.

[EN] I accidentally ordered 2 x 50g bags of this, just an oversight of mine when I was putting together my 1st Tealyra "sampler" order. When I received my order, and realized my mistake, I was a bit disappointed as this Match Iri Sencha was the least anticipated of the 5 different teas I ordered. It was the token green tea on the order, which also had one white tea, one oolong, one pu-er, and one rooibos. However, it turned out to be a good mistake as this tea is delicious! Of course, I would've saved money by just ordering 100g instead of 2 x 50g, but no biggie. Brewed correctly, it makes a vibrant green cup of tea that tastes less grassy than other green teas I've tried. Smooth and subtle flavour. Definitely will be a re-order for me....eventually.

[EN] I'm thoroughly enjoying this cup of Matcha Iri Sencha! It has a full Japanese Sencha green tea flavor with a rich matcha green color and a deep deep flavor! It has zero astringency, isn't bitter at all. I think this is one of my favorites.
