This Chamomile-Spearmint is the first loose leaf tea I have purchased from Tealyra.... but it won't be the last. This is a great tasting tea for my evening wind-down beverage. I recommend it to anyone looking for a similar cup of tea. Smells wonderful, and tastes as good or better!

I must admit to buying first from Tealyra as an alternative to the difficult-to-find Heath&Heather organic chamomile & spearmint bags I had using as my nighttime drink. I have bought the loose tea to try and am extremely pleased to find that it is both beautifully scented/palatable and absolutely knocks me out at night. A very happy new customer thanks x

Questions about Chamomile Spearmint

What does it taste like?

Honey-like, mellow chamomile with a cool, fresh spearmint finish. It is naturally sweet, so many people drink it without sugar.

Can I let it steep longer?

Yes. We suggest 4–6 minutes at 205°F (95°C); 6–8 minutes gives a fuller, sweeter cup. For a stronger cup, use 2 teaspoons instead of 1.5.

Is it good iced?

Yes. Brew it double strength (about 3 teaspoons per 8 oz / 200 ml) for 6 minutes, then pour over ice. A slice of lemon or a spoon of honey works well.

Does it contain caffeine?

No. It is a caffeine-free herbal tea, so it is a popular choice for the evening.

Is there anything I should know before drinking chamomile?

Chamomile belongs to the daisy family. If you are allergic to ragweed, daisies or similar plants, or if you are pregnant or take medication, check with your doctor first.

How many cups are in a pack?

About 25 cups per 50 g, 50 per 100 g and 100 per 200 g. It also comes in 25 and 50 tea bags.
